I do not know if anybody else had this trouble, but the safe we received was completely defective. I do not know if it is the actual safe, or if it was broken for the duration of shipping.
The master essential and the pass code did not function at all. The protected did not open. We followed the directions as soon as we received the secure, but the very first step of the directions did not function- Step 1- Insert more than ride essential and turn suitable. Then we entered the factory preset pass code, and was able to lock and unlock the bolts whilst the door was open BUT immediately after one try, the factory preset code did not perform, neither would the over ride important.
