Purchased this last week for an upcoming trip to Europe for use as an added measure of safety in the hotel rooms we are staying in. Received incredibly fast making use of Amazon Prime.
Tested this transportable lock in my residence with 2 unique doors and functions wonders! With this lock on, it will make it incredibly tricky for an intruder to come in to your room. Although the red piece is plastic it is reinforced with a metal plate underneath it which makes it actually solid! This tends to make the entire portable lock created of metal! When installed, it was complicated for me to go in the dwelling. I think that I would have to kick the door in to jar this portable lock loose.
Wonderful added measure of security! I will sleep far better realizing that even if an intruder manage to choose the locks of my hotel area, they would have to kick the door in to open it with this portable lock in spot!
